2012 Jaguar XKR-S revealed at Geneva today, 542bhp beast

This jaw dropping Jag which has just been unveiled at Geneva today, it has a modified 5.0-litre AJ-V8 engine which produces 542bhp and 502lb ft of torque, this means 0-60 and 0-100mph acceleration figures of 4.2 and 8.6 seconds (respectively), top speed is a very impressive 186mph.

• 0 to 100 km/h (62 mph) sprint in 3.3 seconds (3.1 with special Corsa tires)
• top speed of 330 km/h (205 mph)
• 0 to 200 km/h (124 mph) in 9.1 seconds, 8.9 with the Corsa racing tires.

New 2012 Jaguar XKR facelift

Here is the latest incarnation of the XKR series from Jaguar, from these camouflaged photos it is most definitely going to be another jaw dropping Supercharged Auto from Jaguar.

Details of this powerful Jag are limited at the moment, but expect to see an 8-speed transmission and power go up from the already insane 510bhp motor.  We expect to see this powerful cat in the showrooms in June and go on sale in the Autumn.

We think this will be another AMG Mercedes killer from Jaguar, what do you think?
